Roles determine what all accesses and privileges a user has in OSlash. There are administrative roles that are designed for people who are responsible for managing accounts and settings in OSlash. Non-administrative roles let people work in OSlash and access key features.
Roles in OSlash
Below is a complete list of the roles available on all of OSlash’s subscriptions:
Workspace Super Admin
OSlash workspace has one super admin by default. This person is the creator of the workspace. They can promote other admins to make them super admins. Super admins alone can delete the workspace, promote admins, or make changes to the workspace settings such as make edits to the workspace name, URL, or image.
Admins can assign workspace admins. They have the same level of permissions as super admins. They can invite new members to the workspace, create new invite links for admins and members, and can edit/delete the Shortcuts. However, they can’t delete or make changes to the workspace settings.
Members have access to use features in OSlash, except for those that are limited to only admins. They can invite a user to the workspace after the request is approved by admins.
A collection editor is someone who can edit the access settings of a collection, delete it, add Shortcuts to it, or change its name.
Group admins can edit the name of a group, promote a group member, invite others, or delete it from the workspace.
Collection members can access a collection and the Shortcuts within it. They cannot, however, add new Shortcuts to it or make changes to its access settings.
Group members are part of a group. However, they cannot make changes to its access settings.
